  1. Cane and Bamboo

    Cane and bamboo crafts are the heart of Meghalaya's craftsmanship. Everyday items like baskets, mats, and furniture are crafted with precision, while finer pieces serve as decorative and functional items for sophisticated markets.

  2. Wood Carving 

    Wood carving is a traditional art where skilled artisans create intricate masks, sculptures, and furniture, often inspired by tribal stories and beliefs.

  3. Horn and Bone Craft

  4. Basketry

  6. Pie Corns

  7. Khoh

    Khoh or closed weave carrying Basket is used by Khasi people for general purpose marketing. The basket is carried on the back with the help of a head strap worn around the head. It is made of bamboo outer splits.
